Our strategic planning approach borrows from the best of Project & Change Management to develop a strategy that directly connects individual, daily actions to strategic outcomes.

Very simply we believe that a strategy is only worth developing if it improves on the current situation. To create that improvement, individuals will need to work and behave differently.

Just like in the best project management planning, we start with the end result – how the people who make the strategic plan a reality have to work, think, feel and behave for the organisation to achieve its strategic goals. Working backwards from there enables us to understand the structures, systems, processes and actions required to develop, support and sustain that individual change.

This process achieves a connection between the organisational and individual perspectives and ensures that both are aligned on the strategic goal. The strategy directs the organisation yet it is personal and achievable daily. Activities that are not necessary to achieve the strategic goal are naturally eliminated by the process of working backwards from the goal.
